FAQ

Can I have my own monuments diagnosed? Yes. If the building is a national cultural monument, a request for the preparation of a technical report on the state of the monument can be submitted by any natural or legal person. Requests for a tour of the monument and the preparation of an evaluation report can be made on this page by clicking on the "Reservation form" in the top bar and filling in the basic information about the monument and pressing "Submit". Within three working days at the latest, confirmation of registration and instructions on what to do next will arrive. The inspections themselves are not charged, but the actual transport costs and consumed material are charged if the found minor defect in the monument is eliminated. What needs to be prepared before visiting the inspection team? In particular, the owner or administrator of the building should be present during the visit, who has basic information on maintenance and repairs carried out on the building, should make all premises accessible, or provide lighting or electricity supply if necessary for the work. Is it possible to provide your own material for maintenance work? In some cases, the inspection team may not have the same building material as used in the construction (eg a specific type of roofing), in agreement with the inspection team this is possible. Can the staff of the inspection team also carry out more extensive repairs to the building? No, their task is, in addition to "diagnosing" the object, to perform a demonstration of basic maintenance to the extent appropriate to the working time allocated to the specific object and to instruct the owner on how to perform basic maintenance. Extensive repairs will be provided by the owner to the suppliers of such works on the basis of the recommendations in the "technical administration of the cultural monument".
